Who Will You Bring?

30 Days of Service

Diversity

As a Leadership Charlotte graduate, you are passionate about Charlotte. You care about the challenges we face. And you are actively involved in causes and organizations that are addressing deep issues to make our community a better place. You invite others to join activities that are important to you – and you are often asked by friends to participate in activities that are important to them. You are humbled to serve in a network of engaged citizens – and you know how much more can be accomplished if more people rolled up their sleeves and joined in.

Wouldn’t it be great if more people were exposed to the issues and organizations you cared about? Wouldn’t it be great if you had the chance to become aware of other opportunities to serve? Imagine what we could accomplish if all us invited just one or two more people to engage.

On March 31, 2009, Leadership Charlotte will participate in a collaborative leadership conference featuring Peter Block, author of Community: The Structure of Belonging. Following the conference, Leadership Charlotte will launch:

Celebrating 30 Years of Community Leadership
with 30 Days of Service to the Community.

Each day between April1-30, 2009, teams of Leadership Charlotte alumni will work on special projects for agencies in our community that make a difference. But 30 Days of Service is not for Leadership Charlotte alumni alone. It is for everyone wanting to make a difference. We invite you to expand the circle and engage others.
